The International Association of Minecraft Architects (IAMA) is an architectural institution founded by the leaders of Avrin, the Federal Republic of Newland, NXUS and NickMiao0928 on 7th November, 2016 as the International Alliance of Minecraft Nations (IAMN), originally a small role-play based intergovernmental organisation aimed to provide the four a forum for the exchange of ideas and advice, allowing the four to improve oneself.
Today, the IAMA has evolved to become a vibrant Discord community of over 200 digital artists from all around the world as well as a professional Minecraft build team, all with the common goal to create and inspire. 🌟 |

Our Vision
We here at the IAMA have two very simple aims.
- To Create. We aim to create one of the most prosperous communities in Minecraft, as well as an ambitious collaborative project by our best builders, to unite our strength and create one of the best cities in Minecraft the world shall ever see.
- To Inspire. We want other players to understand that given the determination, and perseverance, they too, can create the same level of builds as we do, as we all use the same building blocks. Minecraft is a game full of potential, and we here at the IAMA see it as a canvas, a tool for constructed art.
Structure
Section 2 of the Charter of the IAMA stipulates the composition of the Association with two principal organs, the Forum, managed by Forum Moderators, and the Board of Directors, managed by Directors.
The Board of Directors, being the executive body of the IAMA, manages and oversees all of the Association's operations, including but not limited to those within the Forum. It is also responsible for coordination, conflict resolution, human resources, public relations, marketing campaigns, as well as representing the Association under a collective leadership. Today, the Board consists of four members, including NickMiao0928, NXUS, JDV, and Lexer.
The Forum is the primary function of the IAMA. It is primarily managed by Forum Moderators, a group of 11 of our most committed members, some of whom have been with us since the very beginning. In conjunction with the Board, they are responsible for maintaining order within the Forum in accordance with the rules and regulations set out in the Charter, namely the Code of Conduct. The Moderation Team also serves as the ratifying body for major decisions passed by the Board of Directors, including personnel changes, internal investigations, and major amendments to the governing document.
